Well, things do not look good for me. Since we have to cross a border and I am a minor it seems I may have to be with my parents to be able to cross. Does anybody know about this?

If there is a way, I am in :)

JJM,

From Nelspruit it's about 1.5 hours drive - use the Mananga border. From there it is only a few km's to my place.

Mgiddings, Im not sure that applies - surely if you go with other adults, they would be able to take you through? What if you go on holiday to another country with your friends parents?

Just pack your bag and hitch - We will make a plan.

Yes, Swazi maybe you could help in regards to this border?

Mongoose, that exactly what I was thinking.I will phone home affairs tomorrow. Maybe my parents can sign a form saying I am in your care or something lol

I am so stoked my Dad said yes :)

JJM organise an emergency travel document - it takes about a week, you do not need your parents to come with.

BV will be here for the 22nd session - got lots to talk about!

Have not heard from Armata but would love to meet him....finally!

Anyone who wants to attend can RSVP on this thread (had someone book from Florida today???) or you can contact Sean on sbush@llu.edu

Guys you do not need your parents to travel to Swaziland. As long as you have a passport or emergency travel document you will be able to cross - your parents just have to sign the application forms. My son travels alone every week and he is only 14.

You will have to apply soon, it takes a few weeks for an emergency document. If anyone needs a letter to say you are attending the symposium, let me know.
