Sorry to hear what happened to you man, I'm sure there will be a next time.

Swazi, what sort of anti malaria precautions do you reccommend we use?

Ai, I forgot its a malaria area, but I'm not going to go for the tablets again. I'd rather stick to Tabart and some more Tabart... and go for a malaria test if you get the slightest hickup after the trip.

If I have it correct, it is a Low risk malaria area . . Nelspruit also falls within the Low risk Malaria area.

The internet is so slow that I can't even open my pm's!

Do not worry about malaria, just use spray - it's really not a problem. Tick bite fever is much more of a problem! If you go into the bush, make sure you are protected.

I was unfortunately one of the cancellations, as something has come up and I won't be able to go anymore. Swazi, if you still want me to get the vials from Mike Perry and drop them off with one of the party's who is going, just let me know and I'll try to get it done. This is a bit of a bummer, but hopefully there will be a next time :(

Ja. It was! Giddings and I herped Mpumalanga too. We saw Marbled Trees, Afrocks, Scelotes mirus, Cordylus vittifer, etc but we found a herald which thought it was an atropos right on top of a mountain peak. Thanks Thea for an incredible stay.
