Is there another seat open in one of the vehicles that will leave on Friday afternoon and return on Sunday? I can't put in leave but should be able to leave work at about 12 on the Friday... if there is still another seat open somewhere.

Or I'll take Mongoose's seat, then we tie him to the bonnet. Any hijacker with even just a little self respect won't come close to that ball of fire ;)

Received good news today, my mentor, Mike Perry is also joining us for the symposium. Apparently he was informed by SAVP about the symposium. Wonder who informed them?

If I'm going with you Gaboon69 then I'll be able to pick it up on the way. We pretty much drive past African Reptiles and Venom on the way to Pretoria. Just let me know what the arrangements are, so that I know who'll be driving and from where.

Things have changed a bit for me and I may now be able to take the Monday off :D, so I'll hopefulle be able to attend the symposium as well...

Swazi but Mike said he is coming down anyway? Have plans changed because then I can bring them on Sunday if that is not too late.

Swazi,
can you advise what time Mananga border post opens? Just wondering if it will be open early enough to make the crossing in time to be with you at 7.30, or whether we should make plans to come through the night before.
