Shame man - he was just a kid and we all know the stupid things kids get up to - where were the folks - they the ones to blame.

Treating any animal by hitting it with sticks and shooting at it with a catty, that's not a kid its a sadist. Sorry but any body who does that gets what they deserve, its my opinion so no harm intended, if he shot out the crocks eye it would have been a different story. The parents are also to blame but any child who treats animals like that is not somebody i feel the least bit of sympathy for (my opinion only)

Yeah - I understand where you're coming from, but 1. Kids should've been supervised 2. It's shouldn't have been possible for them to access the area.
This kinda thing doesn't help the reptiles reputation.
