Free State Permit?

Postby Chameleon Company » Wed Jun 27, 2012 10:18 pm

Good day all.

I have a question about herpetofauna in the Free State:

In the Free State is it required to have a catch and release permit to catch reptiles? Because in some provinces one only needs an agreement from the land owner?

So basically if the land owner grants permission for one to herp on their property is that enough or does one still need a permit from Free State Conservation?

And yes they are all on permit.

On private property you can do pretty much what ever you want!

Obviously transporting or/and keeping the animal would not be legal!

So if I get permission from land owners on their Private Nature Reserve I can go herping?
