Dehydration

Soak Snake in luke warm water for 30 minutes daily till better.
Make sure that The Snake Always has fresh drinking water.

Snake dehydration.

One Tablespoon of sugar.
One Teaspoon of salt.
One Liter of water.
10% body weight.


I am not a doctor but trust me it works.

Try any electrolyte solution and tube the snake with that. Ringers lactate also works like a charm. If you know a nurse they can get it from most hospitals. It comes in a drip bag but if you keep it cool it lasts for a while.

Soak the snake in a container of very luke warm water for a few days as well. Make sure the snake can rest its head without breathing in water and change the water twice a day.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Hi Miranda, its used to rehydrate your reptiles when their dehydrated.

What works wonders too is a 1:1 Powerade and water solution.

Hi guys. What are some of the signs of dehydration in ball pythons for example? Just so that I can keep a look out for any of the symptoms in the future with my pets.

Dry dull skin and when you pull the skin away from the body it does not spring back straight away.
