Breeding leopard gecko's

Hello

After 3 years i have finally came to house my leopard gecko's together. As time progressed these two became to know each other very well. After a couple of nights out , and some mealies for dinner , sparks started to fly! And what a interesting show it was. They were dancin, shaking , and biting ..messed up their whole house. Dammit i had to fix it every now and then. It has been a week now but something is a bit troubling. The males ...uhumm.... er .. tools (Eusomethingofacocus) is stil pertuding from his behind,,, and he does the dog thing... lick what we cant. For how long is this going to hang out ? I do my utmost best to keep the cage clean but he doesnt seem to like it when i envade his personal space. Gets jittery and run away .. ?(Normally my leopards are calm... almost like goofers ..)

Please advise .. i almost want to just spray his goons with some saline to help keep it Clean.?

I am by no means a gecko expert, but seems like the fellow has a prolapse.

What helps for snakes is to dissolve as much sugar as you can in water and to soak the affected parts in the sugar water.

And try keep it clean as much as possible.

If this doesn't help, I would suggest you take him to a vet.

pHEW !! The "prolapse" is sorted. I removed the him from the encllosure. It seems that stuff, dirt , some "excrement/spew" was clinging to his "Tools". I soaked the parts in some lukewarm salt water. with a cottonbud i gently cleaned it off. Finally i dabbed the area with some betadine. I moved the male to a seperate enclosure and nursed him there for 2 weeks constantly cleaning the infected area. On sunday evening i placed him back with the female and guess what .... he's getting jiggy with it again! :smt007 .. this time i will monitor the situation closer.

Good luck! Poor guy.

P.S. "i" should be written with a capital letter when refering to oneself... i.e. "I" will monittor the situation....
