Hi Dragon.

It is kinks in the snake, they get them when they hatch, it can be alot of different reasons why they get them, from temp changes while they are in the eggs to genetics. I wouldn recommend that you breed him as some of your hatchlings might get kinks to.

But its up to you.

Try post a pic

Is it lumps under the skin, or lumps on the spine?
If the lumps are on the spine then I agree with Dayne on it being kinks etc.

If they are lumps under the skin, it is only fatty deposits from overfeeding. I had a male corn with these little soft bumps on his sides on both sides of the tail running halfway up his body. It is not life threatening. The only way to get rid of these bumbs is to have them surgically removed. As they aren't a threat to your snakes' health, I'd suggest you just leave it. Feeding him less will also not make these bumps dissapear again. Just make sure you don't overfeed it like the previous owner.

Some people are convinced adult snakes need food once, and sometimes twice a week, and corns being the dustbins they are will just keep on eating. (At least, mine are)
