Sad day

At one stage or the other, we all deal with a death. It is never nice losing a pet and thus, you can share your loss with the rest of us and share your memories so that they will be remembered.

Sad day

I lost one of my new Brb's today.
Not sure what the cause was, but if anyone can give me some advice on what to do so I don't lose the other one that would be great.
I,ve got them in a high humidty cage with moss substrate and temp at 25-30.
I'm not sure if it was heat that did it - I know there's always a risk with babys but this realy sucks!
The first snake I've lost.
Glenn.

Sorry to hear that man. How long have you had them, it may not have been something you did :smt102 .

I've had them for 2 days. The other one seems fine.

Geez that's not really long enough for you to have done anything wrong husbandry-wise. Are you gonna get a necropsy done to find out what caused it?

I seriously doubt that you did anything wrong. The conditions you state seem fine. If you had done something so wrong that you were going to kill a snake in two days then they both would have died.

Sorry to hear that. Possibly the person you bought it from can give you a discount on the next one.

Sorry to hear that Glenn. I would phone the guy you bought them from if I were you. It sounds a bit dodgy to me.
