Lost a really good friend...

At one stage or the other, we all deal with a death. It is never nice losing a pet and thus, you can share your loss with the rest of us and share your memories so that they will be remembered.

This little critter, Jack, has been my bestest friend for just over eight years. He's gladly shared his queen sized bed with the Mrs and I, been a companion through some tough times and knew ALL of my secrets.
I truly hope there is a special place in hell for dog poisoners.
RIP Jack, you'll be missed by the Smith family

Fredsmith,
my heartfelt condolences,

I hope this piece slightly softens the pain of losing your beloved animal.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Take care
MISA.

Sorry about your loss. Yes, the old wagon wheel turns slowly, but it does turn nonetheless.
And God has Created every animal from water, of them are some creeping on their bellies, some walk on two legs, and some on four. God Creates what He wills, for sure God has Power over all things. (Noble Quran 24:45)

I'm extremely sorry to hear about your loss.

It is never ever easy, especially when it was not expected.

Try to regain some peace by knowing Jack is probably running around carelessly in MISA's Rainbow Bridge, sounds like a great place.

Deepest sympathies and condolences...

P.S. Hope that @$%#@ chokes on his own poison.

I shared your pain several years back as well when some coward did the same to my best friend.
Accept my deepest condolences and what goes around definitly comes around x 10 folds. I just hope that you get to see the coward suffer when its their turn.

Stay strong. Your friend is in a better place.

Deepest sympathy, also lost a beloved dog to a poisoner, her brother survived but his health was never the same either - it is so so heartwrenching. Condolences to you and your family, and may the poisoners of the world rot in hell.

I too have lost a best friend for 9 years, earlier this year, and can truly say I know how you feel. My sincere condolences.

I pray that you will find the person responsible for this.

I am really really sorry fredsmith. May the bastard spend the rest of his life in the same kind of pain he inflicted on you and your boy. My little guy, a Jack Russell too, was poisoned a while back by some demon from hell. Fortunately I was able to get to the vet where they put him on a drip for a few days and give him stuff to stop the vomiting. He survived thank God but I spent a few sleepless nights and a couple of thousand rands on the vet.
