Looking for whole sale bugs in Gauteng

Postby Kelly » Sat Mar 21, 2009 4:59 pm

Please, if anyone can give me the contact details of someone in Gauteng who can supply crickets/roaches and worms as feeder bugs for my beardies.
I do have the (roach mans details) but I'm tired of poor quality crickets from petshops (who keep them for days- a week whitout food etc) As a last resort I'll bring them up from Durban but I'd prefer to find someone locally.

Thanks :D

grow your own. it's really really easy to breed feeder insects.

Grow your own is really good advice!!!
I have been sick of buying half dead feeder food for a while now.
I am currently breeding the following feeders;

Orange Spotted Roaches (Blaptica Dubia)
Lobster Roaches (Nauphoeta Cinerea)
Mealworms

Does anyone know of a local supplier of artificial silkworm food?

We sell artificial silkworm food at R35 per 100g pack; its in powder form that will keep for a long time in the fridge. We are based in Lonehill. We also have a few silkworms left .....

@BEARDIE&BOX Do you have a website and/or email address for S.A Crickets?

@diesel... I have a small colony of lobster roaches to feed my T's... I cant supply you regularly but if you want to start a colony of your own I can give you enough adults and advice to get them started...
