I appologise in advance for some of the large images.

To upload photos from your computer to the photo gallery:

1. On the top of the page, click on Gallery. It will take you to our photo gallery.

2. Once the page has opened click on "Upload file".

Image

This page will load.

Image

3. Click "Browse". A window will open up which connects you to your computer.

Image

4. Browse till you find the image and double click.

Image

The window will close.

Image

5. Click continue. The next window will load. Click Continue once again.

Image

6. Select the album / category where your photo / picture should be uploaded to. Enter a title and description. Click "Continue".

Image

7. A new window should load and tell you that your photo has been uploaded successfully. Click continue to finish.

Image

Please note you cannot add pictures that are bigger than 500 X 500 pixels and that are bigger than 100kb and they must be jpeg files.

To post photos / pictures from the gallery onto a post:

1. Select "Post new topic" or "Post reply"

2. To add the image click on the "Img" button above the text box.

Image

It will show as follows:

Image

3. Go to the page where your photo is hosted. If it is a thumbnail, please click on the image to enlarge it. Once the image is enlarged, right click.
A drop down box will appear. Select properties.

Image

4. A new window will show and select the Address (URL).

Image

5. Right click the highlighted URL and select copy on the dropdown box.

Image

6. Go to your post, right click and select paste.

Image

7. One it has pasted the URL click the "Img" tab above the text box.

Image

It will then look like this

Image

You can then add text if you wish, or you can add text before the images and select submit. If you are unsure, you can select preview to see if the images show.

Please keep the images within an acceptable size. (See above).

If you are still experiencing problems, please get hold of one of the administrators or moderators.

I have managed to create an album and upload a photo, but I don't see a "post new topic" button?

First you go to the section of the forum where you want to post, whether it is Exotic Non Venomous, Indigenous Chameleon or what ever and then you look at the top left hand corner of the page.

Here is a picture:

If you are on the latest iOS Version (6.1.3 or even 6.1.2) then Safari should work, I am doing this on my iPad.

Thanks Mitton! I'm not sure which version I'm using...I suspect it's an old one. I'll visit the iStore for an upgrade...I'm collecting most of my 12 Ball Python babies this Sunday...and I'd like to post some pics of them!

Is it possible to upload pics from a Blackberry (without attaching it)? I find it ruins a post when pictures are posted in multiple comments with pics in 3's and I'd like to post more than 3 per thread.

I've tried posting straight from the Ipad, but like Tarka, I also think I have the older version.

Just out of curiosity are there any members that use Photobucket or Flickr to upload their photos?

I used to use Photobucket and I am sure there are still quite a few people who use it.
