I know this might be a weird request but please just humour me.

Ok so my black rat snakes eyes have always intrigued me because they have a stripe running through them(pic below shows this) and have only seen it in the old world ratsnakes.
I have looked at what must be a thousand different pantherophis pictures now, and can not find the same eye pattern in any of them.

So just want to if anyone here who keeps any pantherophis spp. specificaly obsoletus, can please have a look at their eyes and let me if they have a stripe running through them.
