I've read about 2 new venomous species discovered in the last 2 years alone - a small viper in Mozamique (i think) and an elaphid on borneo... both these species have been described only from these individuals. I'm sure there are other species around the world that have been described and catalogued from only a few wild caught individuals.

I can't understand this thing about the "most venomous" snake. How long is a piece of string? If it can killl you it's venomous, who gives a hoot if it takes 5 or 15 minutes?

You still end up dead - so then it should be who is the most dead?
