I will say it is the Golden Lancehead ,Aruba Island Rattlesnake and the Milos Viper>

My opinion
I always keep a supply of stimulant handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy.

Leptotyphlops carlae - due to mouth size

Ramphotyphlops braminus - Aggressive behaviour

And finally the top one Leptotyphlops nigricans wouln't want to take a bite from those huge fangs.

LOL Fooble Brilliant, taking a bite from the nigricans can cause serious necrosis, would rather take a gaboon bite anyday!

Dusky Rattlesnake Crotalus triseriatus or Crotalus aquilus - difficult to choose between the two.

Bitis heraldica might be rare, but maybe needs more people to go and look!!!!

Adenorhinos barbouri. rare with limited distribution

And of course there are some obscure Oz and PNG elapids.

Golden lancehead is not rare, just localised.

Nearly impossible to answer but one would imagine names like Cerrophidion petlalcalensis and Crotalus lannomi to feature when talking vipers. Bitis albanica should join the huge list somewhere...but it too may very well not be the rarest Bitis known to us as tommorow might only teach us what we lost yesterday.

Tough question.I'd recon there are still species to be found on this planet that is undescribed, and some will probably become extinct before they have been recorded...
Whats the most common snakes on the planet?

1.Cornsnakes
2.Boa constrictors
3.Ball pythons
:)

Bitis parviocula from Ethiopia.
I guess u can also look at the price to tell which is the rarest.
If I'm gonna be an old, lonely man, I'm gonna need a thing, you know, a hook, like that guy on the subway who eats his own face. So I figure I'll be Crazy Man with a Snake, y'know. Crazy Snake Man. And I'll get more snakes, call them my babies, kids won't walk past my place, they will run. "Run away from Crazy Snake Man, " they'll shout!”
