First thing that popped into my mind is some sort of Siren, but they're not reptiles.

Does it have legs?

Weird, the only reptile I can think of with only front legs is Bipes biporus, but I see no reference to marine animals in the common or scientific name. Maybe I am just being daft.

I thought I might stump you guys. It is a recently discovered species from madagascar(couple years back) apparently described from 2 specimens. It is a MERMAID skink - Sirenoscincus MOBYDICK. See the 2 fictional marine creatures capitals.

Very interesting Jamster. I had not even heard of this species before.

Best GTR in a while.

Haha, hope I didn't spoil it by revealing the reptile, figured we should keep the ball rolling. Anyone else want to give it a go?

Here's one special for Primogen ;)

In its natural habitat this species is camouflaged well despite it's name and appearance.
