henley on klip

I found what appears to be a rinkhals in my yard just under a meter long, I definitely saw it hood up when my dog went close to it.

The only thing I know about venomous snakes is to stay away from it.
How far do snakes move in the wild a day or do I have to be worried about another run in?
Are there people that do removals in the midvaal area?

Rinkals are a normal occurrence in Henley on klip.

I have had 6 encounters over 10 years from a couple weeks old to adults in and around the yard.

You can give the Henley watch a phone call, they have contacts for problem snakes removals.
Or you can try Michael 083 510 5969.
Not to sure if he still does snake removals, but he does charge a call out fee of a R100 to cover expenses.

As for the snakes movement I'm not an expert in that.
but Depending on your yard and where you located in Henley, it all depends, if your yard has hiding spots and place for the snake to hide it my stay longer.
Also depending if there is a good food source for the snake.
