i was wondering... how much do peolple get paid for these reptile talks. say an oke who lectures a primary school class on reptiles or an exotic reptile vet giving a talk at an expert giving talks on venomous snakes. just wondering. we are trying to get a zoo-vet thing going. thanks

I have just started doing shows and talks for little kids, but have not charged only got a donation the first time. I guess it could work out quite a bit for petrol and time.

I charge R400 per hour, petrol is expensive now days.
MY RETICS ARE ADIMANT THAT PEOPLE TASTE LIKE CHICKEN.

I'm sure it will depend on each situation. If it's a corporate demo, go wild, if it's a school, negotiate.
I personally prefer the donation scheme, if anything.

Free .. this side.. but I only do shows for schools, fundraisers, etc... if they decide to contribute to costs, I never say no...
