@Superciliaris I wish! That was the answer I was looking for though, simply because it looks so similar.
Not exactly the holy grail but the lower half looks very similar to A. rungweensis.
I went to visit the little nitschei my female dropped not so long ago and couldnt resist pulling a few legs.

According to the new owner, this little chap was pitch black until a few days ago after it shed.

When I first saw the baby I thought I may have an inbred pair but I have a sneaky suspicion those colours will change to the normal green with the next few sheds.

Copperbob, do you know what this little guy turned out to look like ? I'm most curious to see what the adult colours are because that really looks like it is Atheris rungweensis and not A. nitschei.
