(Kenia Bitis) Bitis worthingtoni

Hello snake friends.

For two month I get babies from my B.worthingtoni. For me a nice little snake were is more active like the other small bitis species.
Male/Female about 40 cm/50 cm. About 4 years old. Mating in middle Oktober and get babies in March. But not all babies eat from beginning.
So I happy to breed this species.

With this small reportI hope to find people were are good breeder for small bitis species. So I would change B.worthingtoni for bitis rubida, bitis armata or bitis inornata. I know for any people it is not legal to keep this snake. But if good breeder breed a lot from the rare snake fo market the people dont collect it from wild.

Here some pics from my worthingtoni.

Best regards

Interesting species which we dont see too often.

They always remind me of a cross between caudalis and atropos. They have the same narrow head and habits as atropos.

Thanx for sharing.
