Atheris chlorechis subcaudal scale count

Postby Ruan Stander » Sat Aug 30, 2014 6:26 pm

Does anyone have any literature or knowledge regarding sex-specific subcaudal scale counts for Atheris chlorechis ?

I found that males average 57-62 and females 48-52 on another forum, but can't verify that anywhere.

Also, the first subcaudal is divided, and the rest are single. Is this single pair of subcaudals included ?
And if I am correct, the very last scale is not included in the subcaudal total ?

I would appreciate any help.
