(Not certain if this is the correct place)
I'm 21 years old and love animals, I have had animals since I can remember, I recently started breeding with some and discussed my idea of opening a petshop where I can sell my animals (that aren't inbred or over bred) with a lady about double my age, I bought some animals from her (multimammates and cockatiels). Almost all my multimammates I bought from her died at an early age (a few months old), turns out she keeps all the mammates together to breed the whole time, so the young were weak and very tiny for their age. I do research before buying any animals, and I consult many resources. Now here is the problem, she has money and now she bought a lot of animals and started breeding to start her own petshop, she even stole my cage idea. Now, I give her advise on how to take care of animals, because I don't want animals to suffer, she didn't even do proper research when getting guinea pigs and she fed them only rabbit pellets, then I told her they need vit c and she said "Don't believe everything you read on the net". Another lady told her the same thing and then suddenly she believed that lady.
Now she wants to get angora rabbits and we live in Richards Bay, I told her they won't like it here cause of the heat and that she will need to shave them which will stress them so it's better not to get them, guess what she said! "Don't believe everything you read on the net"! Now what should I do and why don't people believe me? I know I am young, but really I have a passion for animals, I do my research and take proper care of my animals, I don't take in more than I can handle, but this lady went overboard. She already has 11 rabbits, and told me she wants to give me one cause she has to many and now she wants angora rabbits.
If it wasn't for me, most her animals would probably be sick or dead and she won't even know what breed of rabbits she has. Please excuse my ranting.
