In the UK people who hav 'rescued' roe deer fawns have had problems with the bucks. The have wicked horns and stab you at wedding tackle height. One guy had his femoral artery pierced nearly bled to death, lucky he was close to hospital
Wild adult roebucks have seriously injured people in the UK during the rut; see - not only the adder is 'dangerous'. (How I hate that word).
