Brown house snake

How long does the average brown house snake live, i have seen that most sites say +10 years but I am unsure because this doesn't seem very long compared to other snakes

Anywhere from 15-20 years would be realistic if given the proper care.
Every now and then you hear of a 20+ year old animal.
