I was thinking more in the line of adding it to the current curriculum for grade age children. Std 2 (Grade 4) kids could be taught the basics in a Biology class.
The kids in turn can educate their parents.

I included the python becasue it can become large enough to pose a threat to humans.

We had one bite from a boomslang where a young Mfaan was picking mangoes, and grabbed hold of a boomslang, thinking it was a branch.

Mango trees are also favourites for Black Mamba.

As mangoes ripen in summer, when snakes are at their most active, it sometimes caused problems.

I was thinking that education could possible be included in the school curriculum. A teacher would not have to know the snakes, as they would be reading off a page, or showing slides on an overhead projector.
The children could then in turn teach their parents.
