Wait is the south african violin spider the same as the american brown recluse spider? I have seen first hand bites by american brown recluse spiders and some can be quite nasty and horrible. Definitely an animal that you should avoid.

yes, it is the same spider.
I spent most of my money on fishing, booze, and women. The rest I just wasted.

puzzled -----why call it a violin spider ?------where is the violin ? markings are not too clear on foto-
please clarify -----never heard of them till recently -----64 yr old --------KZN --------
