Doesn't look fun at all! I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Just imagine what a bad bite to the face can do...

Its funny how I said to someone that possibly he was only slightly drunk and tried to catch the snake under a fridge and it bit him, so that we could give him the benefit of the doubt.

Seems like it was his birthday and he had had too much to drink and a puff adder crawled in under a fridge at 10 o clock at night and bit him as he bent down. Strange coincidence.

He is the snake whisperer of his neighbourhood. Looks like he will be the snake lisper of his neighbourhood from now on. He says he will continue .... despite not having a catching permit.

The medical aids are less inclined to pay the expenses unless it was an accident. In some cases you need to explain how a bite in the face when you have been drinking could have occurred.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
