They're gharials (Gavialis gangeticus).
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Yup I see that they are now on the Critical list. It is a shame really but that is the way of things these days.

It depends on the health of the chameleon, if its a male of such size and healthy they have a strong grip the claws can puncture your skin thats why gloves sometimes are an esential.

But what do you think of the colour compared to an ordinary male Veiled?

That’s the best looking Veiled I’ve seen! Chamssss are breeding with this male? Is he some kind of morph? Or just a different variety? Possibly different locality to those we are used to seeing around?
My 2 fav’s:
Blue headed tree agama.
Caiman lizard

Unfortunetly not, I wish I had him.
He was a wild caught and someone owned him in America, he only displayed those colours in sunlight.
I would say he is a sunburst phase.
He also past away luckily he was bred and the owner now has babies of that Veiled.

The morph you can get in america are Translucent, sunburst, turquoise and I think there are 1 or 2 others.
