Before you go to Google, try and think what it could be. Comment and then go Google the question. What is the fastest lizard?

Is it not the ''Jesus Christ Lizard'' or something?

There type of statistics are useless in my opinion because it doesn't take the species size into considerations.

One can't directly compare a larger iguana to a small little Pedioplanis or Meroles.

A stupid analogy is comparing the speed of a Maltese Poodle to the speed of a Great Dane.

I like stats that are normalised to size; like the strongest animal on Earth in relation to their body size is a species of Dung Beetle.

No that would be basilisks that appear to run on water. Similar to what Jesus did, he walked on water

Westley, I see what you mean and I shall rephrase my question, among smaller lizards, what species is the fastest?
