Does anyone have advice or ways to catch a escaped snake outside?

Non venomous - Get gloves and grab it.
Venomous - Good luck :)

You should put those rubbers under your doors so there is not a gap under the door when it is closed. Keep your doors closed in the snake room-if you share the room with the snake same story-you kids are mos working your way up to venomous.....

Seeing as you stay in Johannesburg I guess you have walls? Do some herping in your garden. Other than than there is not much you can do. Ask the maid to tell you every time the a cat or dog barks in the yard. Tell your neighbours and give them an pic. You can lay down wood boards. Do it along the walls.
If I'm gonna be an old, lonely man, I'm gonna need a thing, you know, a hook, like that guy on the subway who eats his own face. So I figure I'll be Crazy Man with a Snake, y'know. Crazy Snake Man. And I'll get more snakes, call them my babies, kids won't walk past my place, they will run. "Run away from Crazy Snake Man, " they'll shout!”

Listen out for alarm calls from birds.

Best solution I can think of is giving me your parents number. That and being banned :?:

Jeesh sorry but I believe if you keep venomous the reptiles must be in their "own" room that can be LOCKED and escape proof not only to keep them from escaping but also keeping nosy people out. If you don't have the space or can't afford a extra room just for them then you shouldn't keep them!
