The real danger in keeping multiple snakes together lies in rapid spreading of disease or exchange of pathogens through water or faeces and possible injury or death due to feeding accidents where two or more of your pythons may be attempting to constrict or swallow the same food item.Numerous other reasons for not ever keeping snakes together include cannabilism in some species, competition for basking space, etc. The list goes on. This must be one of the most common questions asked in the hobby and ironically people still prefer to learn the hard way.

The flat that I am in is to small for the tanks so wanted to put all of them into one tank.

Well...........I wouldn't recommend it but I can understand if you have no other choice. Tubs work wonders, why not get one each for your ball pythons and use a tall cage for your other snake?

One thing that many people forget is that ball pythons are somwhat semi arboreal. Your Irian jaya should get larger than your balls. Have a larger cage for your Irian jaya and maybe put two smaller cages side by side on top of the carpets cage for the balls. Two reasons, as metioned there could be fights during feeding, and also if you keep them together and one of them happens to get IBD the others will get it aswell.
