First Dumerils Feed

Postby brentraf » Sat Feb 23, 2013 10:17 am

Hi all,

Just gave my Dumerils its first feed. Took a bit of teasing and then he nailed it. After swallowing the pinky he then tried to eat himself though so I had to give him a hand and free him from himself haha.

Nice going, I always like to watch that white patch on under their necks turn pink while they are feeding. You can also start feeding fuzzies or small hoppers as they provide better nutrition than pinks.

Yes, calcium from more developed skeletons and a bit of fur also helps make less sloppy stools. Pinks are just little butter balls full of milk.
