Hi, does anyone know if there are any Cuban Dwarf boas Tropidophis melanurus in South Africa and who might be working with them?

Nope as far as I know they have never been imported and bred.

Thanks BV, I thought it was a long shot.

I saw many in "East Germany" after the wall came down because they visited Cuba quite a lot. They breed easily and even though the babies are tiny they eat pinkies especially multimammate pinks. You get some really nice orange coloured ones too. Possibly there are still some left in Europe.
