Ball head boa? Or some such name

Postby boing » Tue Mar 25, 2008 1:06 pm

My friend was recently in the States and saw a snake he wants to get. The name was something like Ball head boa and it gets to about 4 foot long. It costs R350 (on the current exchange rate). Any ideas what this species is cos I have never heard of it? He said he would recognise it if he saw a picture.

Also, what are the things to take into account when bringing a snake into the country from the States. He is going back over later this year and was thinking of bringing one back with him...

Never heard of it, it would help if he could find out what species it is.

Have a look here regarding importing, it's pretty scary.

I'm in the states and never heard of a ball head boa. Racking my brain trying to think what he could be referring to, but I'm coming up with nothing... :-?
