Snakes Spotted on the Road December 2010

I did quite a bit of driving (almost 3000km) in December and, surprisingly, saw precious few snakes - would have thought i'd see a few more! These are a few I managed to take snaps of:

Slug Eater, just outside Worcester, WC

Brown Water Snake, Buffeljags, WC

Brown House Snake, Malgas, WC

Also saw a DOR boomslang on Tadouws Pass (WC) and a DOR black molesnake around Three Sisters ... they were pretty grusome so i'll spare you the pics.
I spent most of my money on fishing, booze, and women. The rest I just wasted.

Yeah, they can be lovely :) point and shoot camera and harsh light did not really do him justice though!

I did not measure, but would guess he was about 80cm

The slug eater and the water snake where found around 07h00 in dizzly conditions. The house snake at 13h00 on a hot cloudless day (surprisingly).
