Wow, that is so cool and such an achievement! Super well done.

It reminds me a bit of Telescopus dhara hatchlings, haha.

I really hope you manage to get them feeding on gecko tails or something like that.

Fingers crossed and good luck.

Thanks Westley. I am a little stressed about the feeding. I regularly breed Tiger snakes and they do not seem to be that different in size and habit so I am hoping they are about the same.
T.dhara is so on my wishlist haha. I will keep putting pictures up as I go along with this little guys.

Thanks guys for all the wonderful comments, just an update. Out of seven eggs 6 hatched, the last one was fully formed but dead in the shell. This is not a usual occurrence for me so I can only say it must have been one of those things. Another baby just rolled over and died 48 hours after hatching, this I would like some ideas about. So five tiny mouths to feed for now.

Thanks predator, yeah guess its just something that happens.

All the others have shed and one has eaten so I am feeling slightly confident lol.

Hi, just some updated pictures of the babies. All five are eating Dwarf gecko's and growing slowly. They are quite aggressive and i am hard pressed to get them to sit still for pictures.

Gorgeous little babies.

Well if all of them are feeding I reckon you have passed your first milestone!

Good luck with them for the next couple years.

How long do you reckon before they will be able to take day old pinks?

Not to sure, it takes me about 4-6 months to get Eastern Tigers onto pinks with assist feeding. These guys are similar sized but are way more nervous and uptight with handling so any assistance is just to damaging. It also depends on how often I can feed them, they are already eating adult dwarf gecko's and a new born pinkie is not that much bigger so it could be sooner.

Just have to learn as I go along.
