Very nice to see Natal Black! Do you give these guys any sort of overhead basking lamp?

No lamps hey , Ive got them on underflor heating (25% of enclosure) at this stage they seem to be thriving. If the heat spot is in the mid 30's they tend to stay away from it.

Phobos - Nice one , enjoy them :)

I know nothing about the venom but this is what I have seen with my own eyes....They are rear fanged and there fangs are huge!! I was suprised when I saw them , wouldnt like to take a bite... Other than that I would be book refrencing..
None of mine have attempted biting and seem to be doing very well in a captive enviroment. They eat mice from day one - I had babies from three different clutches and they all ate. These are from Tanzania though , Im not sure weather ours would feed the same , most of the Tanzanian animals from my experience seem to be less fussy when it comes to feeding, Im not sure why.

I know someone who took a bite from one of these and he reckons it was worse than the time he was bitten by an Atractaspis (Burrowing asp). The swelling was unbelievable and some of the worst I have seen from any snake bite.

These are not aggressive snakes but dont let them bite you and especially dont let them chew on you.
