My Hoggie [Photo Heavy]

Postby shadowfoot » Sat Nov 05, 2011 6:11 pm

Just thought I would post some pics of my Hognose after a shed. Love this little guy, such wonderful characters these snakes have. He is still a juvenile, so he still has some growing to do, but thats no problem since he just pounds down pinks. I think these snakes are so underrated and think they are great snakes to get after your first or second snake.

Regards

Hey, thanks for the compliments. You see them pop up now and again so just keep your eyes open, but they are black listed in the western cape if I am not mistaken. I bought mine from martinB.

Hi Guys...I bred that Hoggie. Could not sell them privately and sold them to Martin. I am expecting some clutches again in early 2012.

@fangfan, how did it go with cape nature?
Hope you get a healthy and good looking hoggie. They are a real pleasure to have around.

@shadowfoot, I'm going to set up a buy, once I've got a seller, and then I'll send the docs to Cape Nature.
I'm hoping they will process the permit, and that will open the door for more Hognose sales in Cape Town.
Taking a bit of a gamble, but I've been drooling over a hoggie, ever since I've seen them for the first time.

PS! Your Arboreal pics are so cool. Looks like your hoggie is super happy.
