ID this snake please

Can someone please tell me what cobra this is? Unfortunately my workers killed it :(

Looks like a shield nose to me. But snouted is more likely.

That was indeed a Snouted cobra N. annulifera. Shame it was killed.

Yip Snouted cobra. Just threaten to dock the workers pay and they tend to stop killing the snakes.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
