Baby Aspidelaps

Hi

Managed to breed these beautiful babies this year, a first for me, so I am quite proud.
First a pic of the mom.

Here are two hatchlings, I am not sure if they meant to vary in colour so much, as the parents are exactly the same.

Is the colour variation normal? Do they darken up as they grow? I am not sure. The parents were sold to me as cowlesi.
Cheers

Those are indeed A. s. cowlesi - my favourite Aspidelaps species! Will you be selling any of the hatchlings? If so, please drop me a PM.

Quite interesting.

I hatched these out on Saturday. This little guy is completely black and white. There doesn't seem to be any orange or yellow showing at the moment. I'll post some post shed shots if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the id wadekilian. They like little eating machines these guys, anything that hits the floor is gone.

KFC that light one on top was almost black and white like yours and now she is showing a slight orange tinge to her. They are two weeks old now.

Thanks Fooble they have quite an attitube straight out the egg...very scary lol.
