Aspidelaps lubricus lubricus at it again...

Postby Eyelash » Mon Sep 22, 2014 11:27 am

Some of the indigenous have started mating with the warm weather we've had the last week or two. As usual the Cape corals were first to lock ! This pair produced an anery hatchling last season so I'm holding thumbs this year we'll see another one or two !

I did not even know anery Cape Corals were available! Or is it crossed with the anery cowlesi to introduce the anery gene? Do you have pics of the hatchling?

Congrats Louis, holding thumbs for lots of eggs.

Thanks Wes !

I believe it was a first (I haven't seen any other around). These were never crossed with cowlesi, just line bred to reduce the bands but then this guy popped out...

Oh wow, that is definitely different and fair to call it Anery.

Fingers crossed for more this year. Are you 100% of the parents of the Anery one?

That is awesome.

What does that Anery look like now, I'm sure you still have him?

100% Wes :)

Eugene, I still have him but in the freezer unfortunately ! He/she had a couple of kinks that caught up to it in the end. Ate perfectly tho ! So fingers crossed we'll see some more this year.

Louis.
