BB i would like to know how do you get a leo tortoise tame. The one i Inherited is timid as soon as you come close to it it goes into its shell

I have no idea. My little girl (rescue) doesnt like people, but I think she had a hard life, and will always be afraid of people. I don't think I've ever seen a tame tortoise, possibly some just get used to human contact, and others dont.

I've seen VERY tame ones at CARE in bryanston. There's a big one called chucky that acts a bit like a dog he comes up and rubs his shell against your legs.
