Why bother catching this animal. This is Africa. They occur here. leave it alone. Its far too small to be a threat to humans.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

These morons dont realize that these animals dont pose a serious threat to us and now they will die simply because people are scared.... How many people actually go swim in the Umgeni river or get close enough to be attacked. A simple warning is all that is needed here.
If you cant beat them, join them. If you cant join them, shoot them.

I see Ezemvelo have given permission for this and apparently another crocodile to be shot. They could not trap them because "there are too many fish and it does not take the bait".

These are a "threat" to small children and dogs. Bloody hell we have enough of those as it is.
