Please note:
Do not feed your juvenile Bearded Dragon any Mealworms until he is at least 8 months to a year old

@ BV - Sorry about that, I got a bit side tracked because of the mentioned caresheet that Lourensb added. I apologise.

@ ReptileCorner,

Hi, I am at no means, try to diss any Care Sheet, In Actual fact, it is the care Sheets I have from your Website, witch I am Studying, reading, to satart off with.

So I apologize if it was received wrongly.

I am Honostly just looking for the Best Advise, and It seems Like everyone has their own opinions.

And I also apologize for Bringing Bearded Dragons into the Post, I am Currently in two minds, as to whitch one of the two I should go for, So sory for bringing them into the Post.

I will maybe Post the Same Question about Beardies, in the Beardies Section.

Thanks Again for Everybodies help, I really look at all the Advise.

So I apologize if it was received wrongly.

It was never taken wrongly.
I am always looking to improve myself and open to constructive critism at all times. That's the reason I am on this forum.

I have successfully kept, bred and raised many leopard gecko's on mealworms and superworms. That's not to say they never got crickets and silkworms etc but the staple diet was mealworms and superworms (right from hatching). Never had any problems with mealworms or supers biting or eating there way out of tummys.....complete myth, lol! As has been said, always keep calcium in a lid so it is available to your leo's at all times. They know what they need and will eat as is needed. I used to feed pinky mice to my breeding females when I first started breeding but soon stopped. If your feeder insects are well gutloaded and your females are getting there calcium and multivitamins as needed it is not necessary to feed them pinkies. My leo's were always in fantastic condition and the hatchlings grew very well. My breeding females always maintained a good weight and coped well. Most who bought my baby leo's commented on how large and healthy they were. I am not saying this to make me look good but to illustrate that the diet is more than adequate.
