As far as I know, in order to breed a crimson corn, you need a parent with crimson blood. A miami cross hypo will give normal looking babies, het for hypomelanistic.

You will have het for crimson but the babies will not always look that pretty because a proper crimson is a hypo miami.

You will have something which is only half miami and half whatever the hypo originated from. A generation later you will be closer to the crimson.

You can get nice crimsons locally so rather use that on your hypo and / or on the miami if you really have to.

Try contacting Creatures and Critters in Durban. They had plenty at the expo. Try 031 765 6338 during shop hours.

Possibly Chantel could also help you. Her number is in the ads section.
