Well worth the wait ...

Well worth the wait ...

Postby Chantel » Wed Dec 15, 2010 8:19 pm

This little guys started hatching yesterday, and finally this morning some of them were out! This is the only clutch that's to hatch this year ... the rest of my clutches will be hatching between Jan and March next year (I paired most of my snakes up late this season, and scattered the breedings to avoid them all hatching at once, lol!)

The father of these babies is a Golddust (Ultramel Caramel) Motley, and the mother is a striped Creamsicle. So effectively I guess the ultramel babies in this clutch are Striped Motley Ultramel Creamsicles  This is the first time I've bred a golddust to a striped creamsicle, and I'm really VERY pleased with the results.

Here are some of the babies that have hatched so far (there are 19 eggs, so there are still quite a few to hatch still):

Thanks everyone. And no ... they are my Christmas presents to myself, lol!!

Took some pics of some of the babies that hatched today. There some really strange coloured ultramel babies that came out today, but I still think they're gorgeous! There are some nice banded motleys as well ...
