The baby snakes have started to Pip, it means that they are hatching
By tomorrow you should see a little one slithering around. If you watch closely and with abit of luck you'll see his head peaking out of the egg.
What I do is after the first baby is out, I make a slit in all the eggs, just to help the other babies, do not pull them out or fiddle with them, sometimes a baby will be out or half out of the eggs and he will still be attached to his yolk sac.
Sometimes baby snakes just cant open up the egg or they struggle to get out of the slit already made that's why I prefer to help them.
I lost a complete clutch of albino x anery bhs like this and recently again some of my cape corals, I know its one of those old age reptile debates, to slit or not to slit but thats just my opinion.
Evolution is an imperfect and often violent process. A battle between what exists, and what is yet to be born.
