lol No worries, honestly I'm not sure either...lack of borders on saddles does indicate hypo but most hypos I have seen are alot brighter and more orange. :D

Ambers are hypomelanistic caramels...it doesn't look amber to me.. :)

That's a lovely hypo Josh. Very pretty indeed, but it's not a hypo caramel (Amber).

k both you guys know more than me but i have read at vms herp that there are several "types" of hypo i think they said it was because hypo is co-dominant. there they referred to corns in specific so mabey thats why there are different shades of brown.

I quote them:

" Recently a number of Cornsnake breeders attempted to sort out the confusion of what appeared to be several types of hypomelanism and a strange looking new albino form derived from one of the types of hypomelanism. What was discovered could not be explained by conventional knowledge of genetics as understood by most reptile breeders."

Hypo is not codominant with normal it is, like all other morphs recessive.

Ultra (a type of hypo) is however codominant with Amel, giving you ultramels. :)
