Nice snake.

Your snake already has reduced red, so when you look for a mate, try to find a mate with as little red banding as possible. You can then look into a project like the line bred Oreo morph which has no red banding!

And would be cool if you can maintain/enhance the Sockhead trait too.

Here's an example of an Oreo from Ian's Vivarium:

And here's a Sockhead Oreo from UK-Hybrids.com

Cool, I will do exactly that. When you say sock head, is that the pattern or the shape of the head.

Sockhead is a line-bred pattern where the white band behind the eyes and the first white band on the neck merge, creating a very wide white band just behind the head.

Compare the two pictures I posted above and you'll see what I mean.

Your snake already had the Sockhead trait, but it can be bred to be more solid.

I see on the online classifieds that you are selling your new addition after just a month.

Why the sudden change of heart?

I was just testing the water how well they sell. Not going to sell him. I actually went and bought him a girlfriend.

The girl is a little bit bigger than he so I am really stressed she is going to eat him. Is it okay(ish) to keep them in the same large tank together?

Nope, you're going to be your male short if you keep them together.

Any snake is risky, but Lampropeltis species even more so.
