Baby burm prolapse

Hi guys, juts an update.
She has kept it in since Sunday, has not passed anything yet, so the test is still to come I guess.
I have done some reading up about this and it seems to be common among babies, anybody ever had this happen to an adult?

I had it happen to a bosc monitor which is strange for a monitor. It can happen from either overfeeding or temps in the cage aren't high enough to help with digestion.

Good news.
She passed some faeces and no prolapse!
In the words of Borat "Great Success..."
OK, now would you guys say it would be too soon to try and feed her something small this weekend?

Yes you can because if it did not prolapse then it should be better next time. Just watch that she does not ever dehydrate or over heat.

I would also do away with only heating pads in her cage. By cuddleing on the pad after a meal it COULD happen that the faeces get hot and dry out a bit and this can cause fecoliths which will cause a prolapse. A spotlight from above would heat her entire body much better than just a heating pad from underneath. Set the heating pad a good few degrees lower and the hot spot create the extra heat required.

Will stick the heating pad to the roof of her viv (she is still in a tub...tiny little thing...lol)
Will see if she wants to eat tom, something small.
